Database
Please report errors and omissions in the database system to
Peter Ekström.
The system consists of a Microsoft Information Server 5 with Active Server
Pages (ASP) and an Access database. It is designed to allow distributed maintenance of course data,
i.e. the person responsible for a course can update the data.
The URL of the database system is
http://kurser.fysik.lu.se.
Courses
More detailed descriptions of the courses and course Web pages can
be accessed via the course links.
Courses are organized by divisions in order to facilitate updating.
One point (p) or credit corresponds to one week of studies.
Spring term (VT) is January 20 - May and Autumn term (HT) is September - January 19.
HT1 correspond approximately to September-October, HT2 to
November-December, VT1 to February-March and VT2 to April-May, respectively.
Registration
With the registration system the students can show their interest for
a certain course. The teachers responsible can then see when there is a sufficient
number of students to warrant giving the course. This informal registration
applies mostly to postgraduate courses that are not given each year.
Edit course information

The teachers responsible for a course can keep the course information up to date
with the Edit option. Most available fields can be changed.
To add a course, click link at the bottom of the page and edit the course data. To delete a course
set number of points to 0.
